I don’t want to work in a restaurant, hotel, senior community. I am like to be a personal chef or cook for busy families or need my skills at home. I have a gift of cooking so I never attend culinary school, however; I taken cooking classes in junior high school and high school. I made tamales for my close friends during holidays and they love them.

advertise to be a personal chef……. though i doubt you’d get much work without being a credentialed chef….

You could possibly find an address for a real cooking show or company and send them a recipe and they might have a suggestion for you.

Without having any experience in the chimerical cooking field it will not work out.. When business or families hire you on a contract basis they expect that you have had some type of formal training, they can and will be very demanding of your talents. It is up to you to order the food and the equipment, how to hold hands especially during a party or a wedding. How to hire staff and deal with their problems, What happens when the cater doesn’t show up on time or at all? Who do u call?
Making tamales is one thing making a 7 – 1
course dinner and ordering liquor is a plus wine is another. What happens when you are required by law to take away the car keys when someone is to drunk to drive? They say no and punch you in the face happen to be the one that is suppose to pay you for services rendered and then you have to take them to court and they in turn sue U?

Put an ad on that website craigslist.org. Maybe someone in your area looking for a cook/caterer will consider you. Good luck!

Give people free food. Especially people in the restaurant/catering business…They probably know people who can help you.
