I knew there was a reason for bringing a rice cooker to college. But I think that just eyeballing it would be okay... and by eyeballing I mean stirring it occasionally to check the consistency. I think that waiting until the machine turns off automatically would be too long, because rice isn't as absorbent as oatmeal, and it's programmed to cook rice. THAT IS SUCH A FANTASTIC IDEA.
