But I think that just eyeballing it would be okay... and by eyeballing I mean stirring it occasionally to check the consistency. I think that waiting until the machine turns off automatically would be too long, because rice isn&#039;t as absorbent as oatmeal, and it&#039;s programmed to cook rice.</description>
