If rice is relatively new say 3-4 month old ( you can guess this by its appearence, more whitish and shiny in appearence) – 1 and three fourth cups of water to 1 cup of rice
If rice is relatively old say more than 4 month old, which appears dull and less whitish – add 2 or 2 and one quarter cups of water to one cup of rice.

Add two cups of water for every cup of rice. You may have to add a little more water depending on the type of rice u are cooking.

put your middle finger at the top of the rice and the water should be over the rice as high as the first knuckle line …

I use the boil-in-bag rice. *poof* instant rice.

2 cups of water per 1 cup of rice, add a little oil and salt it tastes better

1 gallon water per lb of rice

Usually your rice cooker comes with instructions, so you can check those. I use a 1 to 1 ratio in the cooking vessel itself, then half a cup of water in the outer chamber. This is for white rice. For brown rice, increase the amount of water a little.

TWO CUPS OF WATER FOR EVERY CUP OF RICE YOU WANT TO COOK

2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice

The ratio is two to one. 2 cups water to 1 cup rice.

6 cups water 3 cups rice…always 2 to 1

two cups water to one cup rice.

depends mushy or crunchy may need to vary the 2 to 1 ratio everyone else has discribed

Usually 1 cup of water to about one third cup of rice.

for every 1 cup rice, you need 11/2 cup water. So the rice is firm and not too soggy.

1 cup rice 1 cup water
2 cup rice 2 cup water
