*Singapore only* I’m a total beginner in cooking. But I’m amazed by the art of western cooking. Perhaps anybody here who knows western food and can impart to me your skills for a reasonable coaching fee?

I live in the Pacific Northwest in the United States. When the immigrants used to come through Ellis Island in the New York Harbor, all immigrants were given a cookbook that taught them how to fix all American foods and how we cook them. The name of that book is The Settlement Cookbook and published by Simon and Schuster and can be purchased from Amazon.com. Since Ellis Island has closed, the price of the book has gone up so it’s now $19.99 US Dollars. But it is filled with everything you would like to know about cooking Western Food.
On the title page of the cookbook it says “Treasured recipes of seven decades. The famous all-purpose cook book for beginner and expert. It is published by Simon and Schuster – New York.
