What slow cooker would you recommend me get?
Are dishes other than rice possible to make with a rice cooker?

I wouldn’t recommend cooking meat in a rice cooker. Rice cookers work based on a spring and weight. They only have two settings: cook and warm. When you use a rice cooker, you add dry rice and water to a pot which sits inside the cooker. There is a small spring that the pot sits on that, when working properly, is pushed down by the weight of the rice.
When the water turns into steam and cooks the rice, the weight gets lighter, thus lifting the pot slightly off the spring, and that trips the setting to “warm.”
A crock pot works with radiant heat, like said before. It also doesn’t change it’s own settings, which is why you can cook things in it for long periods of time. It is the better alternative for cooking meat.
Rice cookers can also steam veggies, but I just use a microwave-safe bowl and saran wrap.
Crock-Pot is an actual brand, and they’re pretty well known for their line of slow cookers. Hamilton Beach makes a pretty good one too.

slow cooker is good for mixing all the ingredients at night and have your food in the morning, or make it in the morning and when you come back from work, have you food ready to eat.

Most rice cookers cook with steam, slow cookers/crock pots use radiant heat. You should be able to steam veges and fish in your rice cooker.

As far as i understand the rice cooker is what it says it’s for and a slow cooker is like a crock pot that is good for all kinds of cooking or at least that’s what i think good luck
