Im looking to purchase a microwave rice cooker but im afraid to buy one that wont work. I want one that will actually cook rice and is fast. I want to be able to cook rice for school so I would like it to cook the rice for around 10min and under. I would be using it to cook white rice, jasmine rice, and brown rice. Does anyone know of a good dependable rice cooker?

I am looking for recipes and cooking times.
I cook wild, long, medium and short grain rices, teff, amaranth, quinoa and buckwheat. Basically all the gluten free grain and grain alternatives. I cook both whole grains and whole ground grains.
My microwave is 1100W.
I currently cook traditionally but it is hard for me to be present through out the cooking process.

We are getting a GE Profile over the range convection microwave for our new kitchen instead of a regular range. I have never used a convection microwave so any tips or recipes would be appreciated.
